Texas Visitation

PDF Print

visitationSome parents will do anything to deny or limit the other parent's ability to regularly visit and maintain a relationship with the child. Nothing could be more tragic or reprehensible unless truly warranted because of abuse or neglect.

In Texas, there is a standard guideline (known as the "Standard Possession Order") for the non-primary custodial parent's presumed minimum amount of possession of the children. Often, however, our clients are excellent parents who want as much time with their children as possible without necessarily "fighting for custody."

Whether you want more than the minimum amount of time or the standard possession order or the other parent is trying to restrict your possession or have it supervised, attorney Jon Boyd will fight to make sure you get the time with your child you and he or she deserves.
